Cleaner

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

About the Role

As a Cleaner at Velociti Services, you will be part of our frontline team providing commercial cleaning services onsite at client locations. Your work will focus on standard custodial and janitorial tasks.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, edging, and dusting
• Cleaning and stocking restrooms and breakrooms
• Window cleaning
• Emptying trash and transporting to proper disposal area
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Complying with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Performing work assignments in a team with other employees
• Maintaining a clean work area
• Following all company procedures, policies, and rules
• Taking direction and responding to supervision
• Communicating professionally with leads, supervisors, co-workers, managers, and customers
• Filling in during staff shortages
• Supporting shift lead in completing punch-list items
• Using proper personal protective equipment
• Presenting a professional appearance and conduct
• Understanding customer service and satisfaction
• Understanding reporting systems and the environment
• Instilling trust
• May perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

Applicants for this role must be able to:

• Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds
• Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments
• Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day
• Stand for extended periods of time
