About the Role
In this role, you’ll provide high-quality cleaning services across our residential sites in Glynde and Hope Valley on a permanent part-time basis, with shifts scheduled Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:00pm. As you’ll be required to travel between both locations, a current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are essential. You’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other facility spaces as required. Flexibility and a positive attitude are important, as tasks may vary based on resident and site needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality cleaning services in clients' homes, including bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and other household spaces
- Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with SDS requirements and workplace procedures
- Maintain infection control, health and safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Travel between client homes across Glynde and Hope Valley, delivering reliable and professional service
- Build positive relationships with clients while respecting their privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of cleaning experience, preferably within aged care, home care, healthcare, or a similar environment
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a fully insured and reliable vehicle
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices, including the use of chemicals, SDS, and infection control procedures
- A strong commitment to maintaining client privacy, confidentiality, and workplace health and safety standards
- The ability to work independently, follow instructions, and adapt to the varying needs of clients
Candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and must hold a current NDIS Worker Clearance. In line with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are strongly encouraged to be up to date with all recommended vaccinations.
