Responsibilities
- Ability to diagnose problems with vac equipment.
- Must be able to correctly “blow down” tanks; must be able to use 3 inch vacuum hose and hook up vacuum lines correctly and efficiently.
- Often required to walk on staging in dim, dusty conditions.
- Must be able to use 100-PSI air line in a safe manner so as to avoid injury to self and/or others.
- All of the above must be done while wearing a dust mask and/or respirator to avoid injury.
- May be required to perform additional duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor for the completion of the job in a safe and timely manner.
Requirements
- One year related experience required.
- Must be able to work cooperatively with other employees and shipyard personnel.
- Must be able to take direction from supervisors or more experienced workers.
