About the role
We’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented cleaners to keep our client’s professional office environment spotless. This position offers flexible hours that may vary based on your availability and business needs, with both morning and evening hours available.
Responsibilities
- Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services.
- Cleans and disinfects office buildings and kitchen/break room areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms thoroughly.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and blinds.
- Wipes and dusts surfaces, desks, and counters.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop hard floors.
- Replenish paper products and soap dispensers.
- Empty waste bins and replace liners.
- Regular and consistent engagement, participation, and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its essential behaviors.
- Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Great time management skills.
- Great customer attitude and attentiveness.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
- Attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
- Basic understanding of cleaning products.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.
- Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen.
- Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described below must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this role. This position will be physically demanding at times.
- Able to walk on uneven surfaces.
- Regularly lift weight up to 20 pounds to waist height.
- Work in a confined access/space environment with a width of 24 inches.
- Must be able to adapt to various temperature extremes including but not limited to heat, cold, moisture, and wind.
- Able to tolerate repetitive movements: bending and overhead reaching.
- Regularly ascend/descend a platform with a height of up to 12 inches from the floor.
- Occasionally ascend/descend a ladder.
- Regularly ascend/descend stairs.
- Frequently bend, crouch, stand, and sit for extended time.
- Must be able to be aware of surroundings and follow verbal commands while being exposed to moderately loud noises on a daily basis.
- Exposure to various chemical cleaners on a daily basis.
- Must successfully pass color/vision examinations as required by the position.
- Must be able to hear and distinguish auditory signals as required by the position.
