Cleaner

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 40hrs

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED (preferred)
• 1+ years of custodial or janitorial experience (apartment or facility cleaning a plus)
• Knowledge of cleaning products, safety procedures, and environmental hazards
• Good communication and customer-service skills to interact with residents, visitors, and team members
• Time-management skills and the ability to shift tasks as priorities change
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance for scheduled shifts
• OSHA or hazardous materials training a plus; we’ll help you build your skills with ongoing safety training

Responsibilities

• Keep common areas spotless — sweep, mop, vacuum, polish, and disinfect throughout hallways, laundry rooms, restrooms, and community spaces
• Maintain curb appeal — help with groundskeeping, trash removal, and light outdoor tasks as assigned
• Support the team — assist maintenance staff with apartment clean-outs, light painting, bulb changes, and basic upkeep
• Prioritize safety — follow proper storage and handling of cleaning materials and report any maintenance or environmental issues immediately
• Show care — ensure residents and guests always experience a clean, welcoming environment
