Job Summary

Clean Team Inc. is expanding and hiring dependable Commercial Cleaners for a new middle school account opening in Indianapolis. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team from the very beginning and help establish a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment for students, faculty, and visitors. We are currently hiring for multiple shifts, including a full-day porter position as well as afternoon and evening cleaning opportunities. Whether you prefer working during the day or after school hours, we have a schedule that may fit your availability.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust assigned areas
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Clean and disinfect desks, doors, handrails, and other high-touch surfaces
• Replenish restroom supplies as needed
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Report maintenance concerns or supply needs to management
• Complete assigned tasks thoroughly and efficiently

Day Porter Responsibilities

• Helps maintain the facility throughout the school day by responding to cleaning requests
• Monitor restrooms and common areas
• Assist with spills or unexpected cleaning needs
• Help ensure the building remains clean, safe, and presentable while occupied

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning or custodial experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Able to lift, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be willing to complete a criminal background check
• Drug screening and customer-specific requirements may apply at certain facilities
