About the role

Part-time and full time entry-level custodial positions on various shifts are available.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine manual tasks requiring medium to heavy physical effort in cleaning and caring for an assigned area in buildings and adjacent grounds and sidewalks.
• Show working knowledge of the properties of various cleaning substances.
• Understand and follow verbal and simple written instructions in English.
• Stand, stoop, bend and stretch for long periods of time.
• Perform medium to heavy manual labor.
• Use various cleaning equipment and products.
• Climb ladders and scaffolds and shovel snow.
• Read, write and understand English.
• Communicate effectively, maintain a positive attitude, and work productively as a team member.

Qualifications

Pay

Salary range: From $34312 to $42565 Annually

Schedule

• Full time: 11pm-7am (Weekend shifts may be necessary as well as Monday holidays with the exception of Christmas and New Year's Day should they fall on a Monday; pass days vary)
• Full time: 4am-12:30pm, Monday-Friday
• Full time (evenings): 5pm-1am, Monday-Friday
• Part-time (weekends): 1st shift: Saturday, Sunday & Monday (including Monday holidays with the exception of Christmas and New Year's Day should they fall on a Monday)
• Part-time (day shift): Monday - Friday 10am - 2:30pm (+/- 30 min depending on building assignment)
