Probationary appointment – 12 months, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.
Description of Duties
- Dust, polish tables, desks, etc.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum
- Gather and dispose of refuse
- Assist in general clean-up of school, school grounds, and parking lots
Requirements
- Neat, clean appearance
- Punctual
- Ability to get along with professional and supportive staff
- Possess appropriate driver’s license
Physical Demands
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
- Occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs
- Frequently required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Some knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
- Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directions
- Ability to get along well with others
- Ability to read and write
- Thoroughness and cleanliness
- Good physical condition
