Cleaner - 1st shift Full-Time

About the role

If you enjoy staying active, keeping spaces clean, and take pride in your work, this role is a great fit. This is a hands-on cleaning position where you’ll be moving throughout your shift, maintaining offices and common areas to ensure a clean, safe environment. You’ll play an important role in supporting daily operations at a high-security aerospace site by creating clean, comfortable spaces for employees.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned office and common areas, including dusting, wiping surfaces, and removing fingerprints from doors and fixtures.
• Empty, clean, and replace liners in trash and recycling receptacles; transport waste to designated areas.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs; sweep or dust-mop hard floors and damp-mop spills as needed.
• Clean and maintain restrooms as assigned or when covering call-offs.
• Keep janitor closets clean, stocked, and organized.
• Inspect work areas during and after cleaning to ensure they meet site procedures and Servicon standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in required training; perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Interpersonal and leadership skills
• Proficient verbal/written communication skills (Spanish a plus)
• Time management skills
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Previous commercial or janitorial cleaning experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work independently and stay on task throughout the shift
