Location: Cub Foods Bloomington | Part-time union position with progressive pay scale up to $18.00/hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting connections with customers and provide courteous service.
• Prepare the store by keeping floors clean, returning carts, and assisting where needed.
• Problem-solve customer or employee questions and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Collaborate with the team on tasks to ensure department success.
• Arrive promptly for shifts and work as scheduled.

Physical demands

• Frequent (15%+ of shift or 10+ repetitions):
  • Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Pushing/pulling up to 30 lbs. of force.
  • Walking, stooping, bending, reaching, standing, turning, pushing, kneeling, squatting.
  • Operating equipment: vacuum, mop, broom, dustpan, dust mop, carts, quick cart, bins, tilt trucks, compactor, cleaning utensils.
• Occasional (less than 15% of shift or fewer than 10 repetitions):
  • Lifting/carrying over 50 lbs.
  • Squatting, stooping/bending, walking.
  • Operating calculators.
• Mental demands: Judgment/decision-making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading.
• Environmental exposure: Outside conditions (hot/cold weather), wet/slippery/uneven ground, snow, rain.
