About the role
Operate equipment to tag molds, de-hook, grind, dewax, flash fire, and program fire molds in the Ceramics department.
Responsibilities
- Deliver product to the floor area on schedule.
- Operate sensitive production equipment.
- Lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Produce quality parts by following all Operating Instructions (O.I.) and Process Excellence Standards (PES).
- Support and participate in the 6S program.
- Collaborate as a team member to meet production goals.
- Ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Adhere to all safety rules.
- Work daily overtime and weekend overtime as required.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- Three months of on-the-job training.
- Ability to lift and move 20–30 pounds up to four times per hour.
- Willingness to work in hot, dusty, and physically demanding conditions.
Working conditions
Good overall working conditions with occasional extreme heat, dust, and high physical and mental demands.
