About the Role

The Sales Assistant supports the sales team and general manager of the home center by generating leads and creating an initial rapport with potential home buyers. This role involves prospecting for customers, setting appointments, answering inquiries, and assisting with various sales and office tasks to ensure a seamless experience for prospects and customers.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for customers using web marketing, road signage, flyers, and other methods.
• Set appointments through prospecting and fielding ad calls.
• Answer prospect inquiries and greet visitors at the retail location.
• Demonstrate homes to prospects, highlighting features and benefits.
• Turn over prospects to Sales Professionals/Managers when applicable.
• Schedule set-up, delivery, and other service-related items.
• Follow up with customers using various contact methods.
• Maintain the office atmosphere and homes on the property, including cleaning, organizing refreshments, and arranging furniture/decor.
• Actively partner with the manager on exceptions and questions.
• Protect company assets and participate in sales meetings and company events.
• Assist during marketing promotions and events as needed.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and assist other Sales Professionals.
• Work cooperatively and collaboratively in a team setting, assisting with miscellaneous duties as required.

Requirements

• Must pass a criminal background check and post-offer drug screen.
• Ability to obtain appropriate manufactured home sales licensing.

Pay

Hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $20.00, depending on experience.
