Classroom Teacher

About the role

This position is responsible for providing professional instructions designed to provide academic, social, physical, and skills development for students in specific grades/subject areas to prepare them to be successful citizens and workers in the 21st century.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and endorsement in the grade/subject taught
• Valid Tennessee certificate
• Must be highly qualified
• Must be physically and mentally able to perform the responsibilities and duties of the position

Qualifications

Proof of education, training, and/or experience is required. The degree equivalency formula is as follows:

• Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years plus required years of experience
• Master’s Degree = 6 years plus required years of experience
