Description
The Early Language and Literacy Initiative (ELLI®) is a high-quality, interdisciplinary early childhood program dedicated to closing the early learning achievement gap by embedding developmentally appropriate language and literacy into play-based STEAM experiences for children from birth to age 5.

What You'll Do
- Support the daily management of classroom operations, including staff and children, in compliance with NAEYC standards and state and local licensing regulations.
- Support daily implementation of ELLI-aligned, play-based learning experiences by following the structured curriculum and embracing each child's individual capabilities.
- Ensure the health and safety of children under your active supervision at all times.
- Support children's daily routines, including meals, toileting, transitions, outdoor play, and rest time.
- Build positive, welcoming relationships with families through daily interactions and participation in parent events.
- Collaborate with your 2 co-teachers as part of a consistent classroom team to support ELLI's research-based curriculum.
Requirements
- Qualifications
- Required:
- A High School Diploma, or currently working toward a CDA or Associate's Degree
- Minimum one (1) year of experience working with children
- Preferred:
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new systems and software
- Bilingual Spanish/English
