Classroom Coach, Alpha - $120,000/year USD

What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating one-hour life skills sessions with K-2 students, coaching them and reinforcing literacy skills introduced by Reading Specialists
• Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning platforms and meet their weekly academic targets
• Guiding emotional regulation, resilience, and problem-solving through consistent routines and supportive engagement
• Monitoring student development and identifying challenges early, then adapting your approach in partnership with your team
• Building a classroom environment that balances structure, energy, and individual connection

Basic Requirements

• Classroom Coach key responsibilities
• Must be available to work full-time and in-person at our campus in Chicago, IL; Miami, FL; Palo Alto, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Santa Monica, CA
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• 3+ years of experience working with children ages 4–8 in educational settings, afterschool programs, coaching, or comparable roles
• Strong storytelling and presentation skills: capable of engaging and maintaining the focus of groups of young children
• Able to maintain high expectations for yourself and students, and motivate kids to achieve their objectives
• Growth mindset and openness to coaching
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Working with us

• This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position
• The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record
• The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year
• The payment period is weekly
