Classroom Assistant I PT

About the role

Multiple positions are available, including Elementary Behavior Support and Recess Monitor.

The Elementary Behavior Support role works under the direction of school administrators and in collaboration with the school counselor to monitor students with chronic repeated behaviors and to teach appropriate lessons in small-group settings. This role will gather and analyze data and report to the Tier 2 team.

The Recess Monitor position is primarily outdoors. Must be comfortable working in heat, cold, light rain, and snow. Active supervision requires constant walking and circulating through the recess areas.

Pay

• Lane 1 Step 1: $17.88/hour (Not Highly Qualified)
• Lane 2 Step 1: $18.88/hour (Associate's degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university)
• Lane 3 Step 1: $19.94/hour (Current/Former Licensed Teacher - Highly Qualified Information)
