About the role

A structured recess aide actively organizes and facilitates playground games during lunch recess. The goal is to maximize physical activity, get students involved, and minimize behavioral issues by keeping students intentionally engaged in cooperative play.

Responsibilities

• Organize and lead structured playground games and activities
• Encourage student participation and cooperative play
• Minimize behavioral issues through intentional engagement

Requirements

• Patient, kind, and organized
• Punctual and able to collaborate with others
• Experience managing groups of students

Qualifications

• Lane 1: No degree required ($17.88/hour)
• Lane 2: Associate's degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university ($18.88/hour)
• Lane 3: Current or former licensed teacher ($19.94/hour)

Pay

• Lane 1 Step 1: $17.88/hour
• Lane 2 Step 1: $18.88/hour
• Lane 3 Step 1: $19.94/hour
