Class C Behavior Planning and Bus Traffic Paraprofessional at Deephaven Elementary, 7 hours per day, 184 days per year

Job Responsibilities

• Implement behavior strategies designed to de-escalate, stabilize, and improve student behavior, attendance and academic outcomes.
• Apply student management techniques and reinforcement schedules under the supervision and direction of teacher or building principal.
• Record and summarize observed data, maintain a log, record computerized data, maintain behavior charts.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary school students.
• Evidence of effective student management and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Must be available before school, after school and designated days in the summer for special events, meetings and trainings.
• Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.

Minimum hourly rate: $22.61 (new rate for 2026-2027)

Assignment 6 hours per day, 184 days per year; 1 hour per day, 184 days per year.
