Class B Utility Driver

About the role

White Cap is North America’s leading distributor for professional contractors, supplying everything needed to build remarkable construction projects, including stadiums, roads, bridges, highways, and residential housing. As a CDL A or B Driver, you’ll coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer jobsites using a CDL A or B vehicle.
• Operate a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites when required.
• Follow DOT regulations, maintain vehicle safety, and adhere to strict maintenance schedules and regular inspections.
• Ensure accuracy of manifests and all required paperwork.
• Assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience.
• Valid state-issued Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Class B CDL with relevant endorsements (e.g., Hazardous Material for transporting placarded materials).
• Two years of commercial driving experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Spanish language proficiency.
