Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tank wagon to transport and deliver DEF products
- Perform product deliveries using gravity drops and pump-off systems in accordance with company and regulatory procedures
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required by DOT regulations
- Maintain compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) rules and Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) requirements
- Accurately complete delivery documentation, bills of lading, and electronic logging device (ELD) entries
- Follow all spill prevention, emergency response, and environmental safety procedures
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers at all delivery locations
- Report vehicle defects, safety concerns, or incidents immediately
- Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Required endorsements: Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate, acceptable driving record in accordance with company and DOT standards, ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings (DOT regulated)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous DEF delivery experience
- Familiarity with metering systems, pumps, and delivery equipment
- Working knowledge of Georgia DEF delivery routes and regulations
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of DOT, FMCSA, and HAZMAT compliance requirements
- Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and handle hoses and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
- Frequent climbing, bending, stooping, and standing
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Work Schedule
- Full-time position with overtime
- Monday - Friday
