Class B Route Driver

About the role

As a Class B Route Driver at CJ Schwan's Company, you will play a crucial role in delivering products to grocery stores to ensure availability on store shelves.

Responsibilities

- Complete local daily routes as planned to meet service expectations. - Unload products, place them in the back room, and collect proof of delivery. - Use handheld technology to document daily tasks. - Build positive relationships with store staff and colleagues. - Ensure compliance with DOT rules and perform regular truck inspections.

Requirements

- Previous delivery, grocery, or warehouse experience. - High School diploma or equivalent. - Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and ability to pass medical certification. - Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and handle frozen products. - Successful completion of pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical.

- Must be 21 years or older.

Pay

$62,000 - $64,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday through Friday schedule, occasional Saturdays; early morning start times.
