Class B Route Driver

About the role

Bolingbrook, Illinois-based CJ Schwan's Company is seeking a Class B Route Driver to join their growing team. This role involves delivering products to grocery stores to ensure availability on store shelves.

Responsibilities

• Complete local daily routes as planned to meet service expectations
• Unload products, place them in the back room, and collect proof of delivery
• Use handheld technology to document daily work activities
• Build relationships with store staff and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain compliance with DOT rules and regulations and perform regular truck inspections

Requirements

• Previous delivery, grocery, or warehouse experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and ability to pass medical certification
• Able to safely lift 35 pounds and handle frozen product
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical exam

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old

$58,000 - $60,000 annually

Schedule

Monday through Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays; early morning start times
