Class B Route Driver

About the role

As a Class B Route Driver at Springfield, Massachusetts, you will play a crucial part in delivering products to grocery stores to ensure availability on store shelves.

Responsibilities

- Complete local daily routes as planned to meet service expectations. - Unload products, place them in the back room, and collect proof of delivery. - Use handheld technology to document daily work activities. - Build positive relationships with store staff and colleagues in a dynamic work setting. - Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and perform regular truck inspections.

Requirements

- Previous experience in delivery, grocery, or warehouse roles. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with airbrake endorsement. - Ability to lift 35 pounds and handle frozen products. - Meet pre-employment background checks, drug tests, and DOT physical requirements.

- Must be 21 years or older. - Valid driver’s license.

$60,000 - $62,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday through Friday schedule, occasional Saturdays; early morning start times.
