Additional Information:
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. (Tuesdays & Saturdays OFF)
- Hrs: Flexible start time, 10 AM - 2 PM, 8-10hr shifts
- Pay: $23 Per hour + OT
- Route Type: Local, a specific route is given upon dispatch to the driver
- Freight / Load Type: Box truck delivering bread
- CDL B Minimum Requirements: License: CDL B, Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience, Endorsements: None, Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years), Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL B equipment on local routes
- Transport bread in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks, including touch freight
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
