Class B Driver (1st Shift)

About the role

As a Class B Driver on the 1st shift at Yarde Metals, Inc., you will be responsible for operating company vehicles to transport materials and products safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to transport materials and products safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during transportation.
• Load and unload materials from vehicles according to company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and product availability.

Requirements

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• At least 2 years of relevant driving experience.
• Good physical condition, including good vision, hearing, and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

Skills

• Proficient in using company fleet management software.
• Experience with GPS tracking systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The 1st shift runs from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
