Class B Driver - 1st Shift 5AM to 5PM
Location: 1811 Portal St, Baltimore, MD 21224
New hire bonus: $3,000 after successfully completing probation period.
About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused driver with a Class B license and experience driving large trucks to collect sharps and medical-waste containers from healthcare customers across the Baltimore, MD area and deliver a high level of customer service daily.
Responsibilities
- Deliver throughout MD/DC
- Operate a 26 ft box truck in a safe manner
- Safely collect, deliver, and store medical-waste containers at customer locations
- Provide strong customer service and build positive customer relationships
- Complete deliveries on schedule and clearly communicate any changes
- Load and unload, and organize the truck per schedule needs
- Comply with DOT regulations, log hours, and pass roadside inspections
- Push/pull a four-wheeled cart weighing up to 200 lbs
Requirements
- Class B license with a clean driving record and a valid DOT medical card
- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating a 26 ft box truck
- Passing a 7-year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
- Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections
- Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
- Proven longevity in past employment
- Touch-freight experience

Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 1st shift
- Varying start and end times: 5 AM–8 AM to 3 PM–6 PM
- 40–50 hours per week with opportunities for overtime
Pay
- Set rate of $27.00 per hour (non-negotiable)
