Class B Delivery Driver

Airgas is hiring for a Class B Delivery Route Driver in Commerce City (Denver), Colorado. This role focuses on dry-ice logistics within the Denver Metro area and the Front Range of Colorado.

About the role

As the largest supplier of dry ice, Airgas operates production plants and distribution branches nationwide to serve key industries, including universities and labs. This position ensures quality, reliability, and service for customers depending on dry ice and cold shipping supplies.

Responsibilities

• Drive a CDL B truck to deliver dry ice to customer locations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload dry ice.
• Obtain customer signatures, verify piece counts against the load manifest, and collect empty dry ice boxes for return.
• Provide customer service and relay feedback to the Branch Manager.
• Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections according to DOT and company maintenance checklists.
• Maintain cleanliness inside the truck.
• Comply with all company policies, safety procedures, DOT, and OSHA requirements.
• Secure cargo prior to and during transit.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year of CDL Class A or Class B driving experience in the last 5 years, or a certificate of completion from a trucking school within the last 12 months. Military CDL driving experience is also accepted.
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in the last 3 years, or a combination of one traffic conviction and one at-fault accident in the last 3 years.
• No serious violation tickets (e.g., speeding 15+ mph over the limit, reckless driving) in the last 3 years.
• No CDL suspensions in the last 3 years, except for "Failure to pay child support."
• No DUI in the last 7 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift Certification.
• Pallet Jack Certification.

Pay

$28.00 per hour. Referral bonus of $1,000.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, starting at 4:00 AM. Average of 40–45 hours per week.
