Class B CDL Delivery Driver - No Weekends!

About the role

Viking Electric is seeking a Class B CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. This position operates in Duluth, MN, with a flexible schedule that includes 4am starts Monday through Friday, returning home every night.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route
• Transport and deliver products to customers with care
• Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license - Class B CDL
• At least 21 years old
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
• Ability to lift packages weighing up to 85 pounds
• Ability to pass and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) physical with our physician network
• Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
• Basic English communication skills
• Willingness to learn how to operate equipment (training provided)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred, but not required

• 1 year of related experience and/or training

Qualifications

Must have basic math skills, basic English communication skills, and willingness to learn how to operate equipment. Must also have the ability to lift up to 85 pounds and pass a DOT physical.

Pay

$25.00- $30.00/hr (pay depends on driving experience brought to the job)
