Class A Yard Jockey - 1st Shift 5AM to 3PM

About the role

Daniels Health is offering a $3,000 new hire bonus for joining our team in Easton, PA. We seek a hands‑on Class A Yard Jockey to maneuver large trucks across the Easton plant, load and unload trailers and trucks, and maintain yard operations.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers and equipment throughout the yard using a yard truck
• Position trailers accurately for efficient loading and unloading
• Load and unload trailers in support of warehouse operations
• Perform daily safety inspections on yard trucks and equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard
• Communicate with yard and warehouse teams to ensure efficient operations
• Safely operate straight trucks and tractor trailers (26’–53’)
• Perform heavy lifting

Requirements

• Class A license with a clean driving record and valid DOT medical card
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26-foot trucks and trailers up to 53 feet
• Passing 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, and roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• Touch freight experience

Schedule

Consistent Monday–Friday first shift (5 AM to 3 PM), 40–50 hours per week.
