Class A Yard Driver

About the role

PD Automotive Division is seeking career-minded individuals to join our team for the start of production lines for Mazda and Toyota vehicles in the Madison/Huntsville, AL area. We have positions available for local yard drivers responsible for maintaining and organizing trailers for line production.

Responsibilities

• Climb in and out of yard trucks throughout the shift
• Hook and unhook trailers
• Chalk wheels
• Back and pull trailers off factory docks

Requirements

• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience
• Motor Vehicle Record with no more than three minor traffic violations in the past 3 years
• Yard driving experience is a plus
• This is a physical position

Schedule

• 2nd shift with a 6:30 PM start time
• Most days will be 10-12 hours
• Full-time, Monday through Friday with some Saturdays

Pay

$25.25 per hour plus overtime
