Class A x CDL Driver - Tanker Endorsement Required

About the role
The person in this role is responsible for driving USALCO tractor-tankers in a safe manner over all types of roadways to make deliveries to customer sites, ranging from large cities to small towns. This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven team player who incorporates safety and quality into every decision while maintaining effective communications with Transportation, Manufacturing, Safety, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Meet all safety requirements of job functions, including proper utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Work in accordance with all DOT and USALCO standards and policies, including hours of service, pre-/post-trip inspections.
- Perform all tasks required in loading and unloading chemical products, including product transfer, quality analysis, documentation, and providing customer-required certificates of analysis.
- Attend monthly safety meetings.
- Communicate professionally with USALCO employees, contractors, vendors, and customers.
- Maintain a professional appearance while wearing a company uniform.
- Work closely with site management to determine needs and priorities.
- Work overtime, provide physical labor, and adapt to changing shifts as required.
- Transport USALCO branded products safely across state lines, as needed.
- Perform other non-driving tasks such as housekeeping and safety-related duties when directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of business goals and objectives.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Current Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazardous Materials endorsements and 3 years of Cargo Tank experience.
- Driving record with no accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years; no DUI or DWI.
- Ability to pass a road test administered by USALCO.
- Ability to complete and maintain a driver’s log book or on-board electronic logging system.
- Must possess or obtain a TWIC card within 90 days of hire (company pays for TWIC card).
- Must pass and maintain a current Interstate DOT Class A driver medical card.
- Must pass DOT Drug and Alcohol pre-employment test and any required random DOT drug tests.

Essential Functions
- Routinely lift 80 to 100 pounds and handle product delivery hoses (2–3 inches in diameter, 22 feet in length).
- Routinely climb up and down to load racks and tankers for loading and unloading.
- Traverse ship ladders, catwalks, and confined spaces.
- Work inside confined spaces as needed.
- Sit and drive a standard or automatic transmission vehicle for the duration of assigned shifts in compliance with DOT driving guidelines.
