Class A or B CDL Route Driver

Responsibilities

• Operation of a truck to collect fabrication material from meat processors, slaughter facilities, grocery stores, and picking up farm mortalities.
• Collects and inspects products at time of pick up for any foreign material at customer location.
• Maintain an Electronic DOT log.
• Operate vehicle in accordance with Company, federal, state and local regulations.
• Conduct pre and post trip vehicle inspections; observe company policy, procedures and safety rules.
• Provide quality, professional service at all times.
• Complete all company required paperwork in accordance with company policies on a daily basis.
• Serve on Safety Committee as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Class A or Class B driver's license with tanker endorsement.
• Must be registered on https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/.

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
• Sitting for long periods of time.
• Ability to stay focused and concentrate on one thing for long periods of time.
• Occasionally lifts up to 75 lbs.
• Occasionally pushes, pulls or moves up to 250 lbs.
• Occasionally required to maneuver a fully loaded dolly.
• Occasionally required to load deadstock and/or bins with assistance from a wench on their vehicle.
• Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
