Responsibilities

  • Act as a safety representative, ensuring compliance with company and customer safety policies and procedures, including emergency response and administrative functions.
  • Operate vacuum equipment, hydroblasting equipment, and specialized tools such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
  • Energize and manage pumping equipment, hydroblasting tools, chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment.
  • Inspect cleaned surfaces to ensure they meet company and customer specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on company equipment used on the job.
  • Handle duties associated with liquid vacs, air machines, and jet rodders.
  • Direct a crew of vacuum technicians when required.
  • Transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.
  • Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, driver’s logs, and comply with all vehicle policies and DOT requirements.
  • Load and unload hoses, and unload vacuum trucks at dump sites.
  • Provide general maintenance in the field.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • Class A or B CDL License required; HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements preferred.
  • Specific vocational preparation, including classroom safety training and on-the-job experience.
  • Proficiency in English to comprehend safety training and respond to emergency instructions.
  • Valid driver’s license and compliance with company driving policies.
  • Smartphone required for Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
  • Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required.
  • Knowledge of emergency equipment operation, such as fire extinguishers.
  • Experience operating a vacuum truck and equipment used in wet and dry vacuums.
