Responsibilities
- Act as safety representative, ensuring compliance with company and customer safety policies and procedures, including hands-on operations, emergency response, and administrative functions.
- Operate vacuum equipment, hydroblasting equipment, ultra-high-pressure pumps, and other specialized tools.
- Examine cleaned surfaces to ensure conformance to company and customer specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on company equipment used on the job.
- Handle duties associated with liquid vacs, air machines, and jet rodders.
- Direct a crew of vacuum technicians when required.
- Transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations.
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, driver’s logs, and comply with all vehicle policies and DOT requirements.
- Load and unload hoses, and unload vacuum trucks at dump sites.
- Provide general field maintenance and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Valid Class A or B CDL License (required).
- HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements (preferred).
- Roll Off driving experience.
- Specific vocational preparation, including classroom safety training and on-the-job experience.
- Proficiency in English to comprehend safety training and respond to emergency instructions.
- Smartphone required for Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
- Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required.
- Knowledge of emergency equipment operation, such as fire extinguishers.
- Experience operating vacuum trucks and equipment used in wet and dry vacuums.
