Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified and experienced Class A Driver to join our Transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials using end dump trailers. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and compliance with transportation regulations. The End Dump Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and secure deliveries while upholding our commitment to environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate End Dump Trailers to transport materials to designated locations.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation.
  • Inspect and maintain the condition of the End Dump Trailers, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Load and unload materials in a secure and efficient manner, following proper procedures.
  • Complete required paperwork, such as logbooks and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients to ensure smooth transportation operations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the End Dump Trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Follow established routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes.
  • Adhere to environmental regulations and company guidelines for the proper disposal of materials.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements for operating End Dump Trailers.
  • Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a Class A Driver (REQUIRED).
  • Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated reliability and a commitment to meeting delivery deadlines.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to sit; use hands to operate the vehicle; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Work may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Pay

$57,200.00 - $88,400.00 per year, based on experience.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday: 3:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Saturday: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
