Class A Driver w/ Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement - Home Daily

About the role

We are hiring a Class A Driver with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement for our dry-ice logistics operations in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This position operates a fleet of CDL A Tanker truck, CDL A Dry Van truck, and CDL B box truck to support our dry ice supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Supporting our partners and communities in San Diego, Palm Springs, Sylmar, Los Angeles, Pixley, and beyond.
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment to support loading and unloading of dry ice.
• Connect with customers to confirm deliveries, help facilitate piece counts match the load manifest, and collect empty dry ice boxes.
• Provide excellent customer service and share insights with the Branch Manager.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections on trucks according to DOT and company maintenance checklists.
• Nurture our shared commitment to all company policies, safety procedures, and DOT and OSHA requirements.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Valid Class A CDL
• 2+ years of verifiable CDL A experience in the last 5 years
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required
• No automatic restrictions on license
• No manual transmission trucks
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years
• Able to work in a drug-free environment
• Able to regularly lift 75 lbs and move more than 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment

Qualifications

• Experience with or interest in advancing skills across CDL A Dry Van and CDL B Box truck operations
• Experience with CDL A tanker truck preferred

Pay

$36.50/Hour

Schedule

Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00pm start time. Typically, a stable 50-hour work week.
