Local, temp-to-hire yard-switching position in Manchester, Tennessee. Automatic transmission, no-touch freight.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate yard-switching equipment
- Transport car parts in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- 1+ year of recent, verifiable CDL driving experience
- Switching experience is a plus
- Strong backing skills
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Must meet all DOT/FMCSA requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
Pay
$23 per hour
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 2 pm–10 pm
- Some Saturdays possible, 2 pm–12 am
