Class A Driver (Local- Touch Freight)

Responsibilities

• Operate a CMV for the delivery of products in a variety of traffic and weather conditions.
• Perform required pre- and post-trip inspections, including ensuring correct products are on the truck prior to departure, completing required paperwork, and collecting/submitting invoices (checks and/or cash) when required.
• Load and unload products for customers.
• Maintain all required certifications by DOT and company safety program.
• Develop expertise of our products, inventory controls, and procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Valid, non‑expired interstate Medical Card.
• Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 100 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, walk, and sit for long periods.
• Effective communication in English within the context of the job and safety requirements.
• Compliance with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Pass pre‑employment testing (drug screen, background check).
• Meets or exceeds minimum requirements established by Quirch Foods and FMCSR.
