Requirements Verifiable work experience as a Class A CDL Driver (minimum 2 years). Valid Class A CDL and acceptable DOT/Safety driving record. Meet or Responsibilities 1. Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods between terminals, customer locations, and distribution centers, strictly adhering to federal, state, and local traffic laws as well as company safety policies.2. Execute assigned routes and schedules with high on-time performance, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections, secure loading/unloading, and accurate completion of logs, bills of lading, and delivery documentation.3. Maintain clear, proactive communication with dispatch and operations regarding route progress, delays, incidents, equipment issues, and any changes impacting delivery commitments.4. Ensure freight integrity and vehicle cleanliness by properly securing loads, monitoring temperature or special handling requirements where applicable, and promptly reporting damage, shortages, or discrepancies.5. Represent the company professionally at all customer touchpoints, demonstrating respectful conduct, problem-solving attitude on-site, and adherence to customer-specific protocols and facility regulations. Minimum Requirements: 1. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) issued in the United States, with an acceptable driving record and no major preventable violations within the recent review period.2. 2 years of verifiable experience operating Class A vehicles (tractor-trailer or equivalent) in regional or local routes, demonstrating safe driving history and familiarity with DOT regulations.3. Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings, including DOT physical, drug and alcohol testing, background check, and any state-mandated clearances.4. Strong working knowledge of Hours of Service (HOS) rules and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) usage, with ability to accurately maintain logs and required documentation.5. Physical capability to perform essential job functions, including climbing in and out of cabs, handling trailer doors, securing loads, and occasionally lifting or moving freight within DOT safety limits. Preferred Requirements: 1. Experience in LTL, linehaul, or dedicated route operations, with exposure to time-sensitive delivery models and multi-stop routing.2. Prior experience using modern dispatch systems, GPS-based routing tools, and handheld devices for load manifests, delivery confirmations, and communication.3. Familiarity with customer-facing delivery work, including interacting with warehouse personnel and site managers, resolving basic on-site issues, and handling documentation discrepancies.
