Class A Delivery Driver

About the role

Join a strong and continuously evolving transportation group at Imperial Dade, helping to grow the business. This role involves operating a 53' truck or smaller, loading and unloading cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate, and delivering merchandise to customer-designated locations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 53’ truck or smaller
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after trips
• Communicate with customers with a positive, outgoing attitude

Requirements

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL A experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Ability to handle a physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Lift gate experience

$20-$25 per hour

Schedule

Monday - Friday from 6 am - 3 pm
