Class A Delivery Driver

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Class A Truck Driver with Delivery experience to join our team in Omaha, NE.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailers and straight trucks
• Deliver goods according to schedule
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed
• Complete various shipping documents
• Assemble and disassemble freight as required
• Apply basic problem-solving skills
• Read and interpret maps and tariff signs
• Read and complete checklists, forms, and other related documents

Requirements

• Class A CDL with a clean motor vehicle record
• At least 1 full year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience within the last 5 years
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Medical DOT Card mandatory
• At least 22 years of age
• Comfortable driving both Tractor Trailers and Straight Trucks

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, bending, and lifting objects above the head
• Regular use of a phone and a PC

Pay

The anticipated starting salary range for the position is $24.00 - $26.00 per hour. The Company may adjust this range based on market conditions and other factors.

Schedule

First Shift: 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday
