Class A CDL Truck Driver
About the Role
MedTrans is Medline's private fleet of professional drivers that delivers lifesaving medical products directly to both commercial and residential customers. Our fleet consists of 2,100+ trucks featuring newer equipment, operating from over 50 distribution centers nationally to provide 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States.
This position is for a late evening, home-daily route (starting between 9 PM and 11 PM) covering a 200-mile radius, delivering to area hospitals and urgent care clinics. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, and the role involves touch-freight deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
- Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
- Abide by Medline’s safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment, performing safety checks, and maintaining a clean driving record.
- Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Provide in-person support to customers—addressing questions, meeting needs, and providing appropriate documentation upon delivery.
- Communicate with the dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to the delivery route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
- Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
- Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued use.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Class A CDL; licensed to operate assigned vehicle.
- Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles.
- Clean driving record with no serious violations.

Pay
The rate of pay for this position is $32.25 per hour. The anticipated salary range is $26.75 - $38.75 hourly, with actual pay varying based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
Schedule
- Late evening, home-daily routes starting between 9 PM and 11 PM.
- Sunday through Thursday schedule.
