Class A CDL Truck Driver

About the role

We have an opportunity in our Quincy, Washington location for a safety and customer focused Class A CDL Truck Driver who will be responsible for preparing equipment, loading it and returning it from customer sites to our rental yards. Our drivers will provide training and/or instructional direction on the safe use of the equipment. It is a physically demanding job, requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety. You must be willing to communicate and cooperate with customers, respond to their questions, and safely operate delivery vehicle in compliance with company and DOT Guidelines, Rules and Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for transport
• Load equipment onto delivery vehicle
• Return equipment from customer sites to rental yards
• Provide training and instructional direction on the safe use of equipment
• Communicate and cooperate with customers, responding to their questions
• Safely operate delivery vehicle in compliance with company and DOT guidelines, rules and regulations
• Identify the need for repairs and/or maintenance on equipment
• Ensure that maintenance or repairs are accomplished with minimal disruption to operations

Qualifications

• Manual certification required
• CDL Class A required
• Air brake endorsement required
• At least two years of driving experience or completion of a truck driver training school course operating equipment similar to a CDL truck driver
• Dependable, responsible, and committed to safe operation of vehicle and timely pickup and delivery of equipment
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, alcohol‑related violations, or other moving violations in the past 3 years
• High school diploma or GED required

Pay

Hourly wage ranging from $33.05 to $40.35 per hour.
