About the role

Britton Lumber Company, a family‑owned regional building materials wholesaler serving manufacturers and retailers in New England, is seeking a tractor‑trailer driver for daily routes out of Billerica, MA. The position offers home‑daily evenings, weekends off, and traditional overtime pay.

Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed or tarp‑side trailers on daily routes delivering to customer locations and picking up from local manufacturers.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company.
• Collaborate with the Billerica crew to support professional growth and employee satisfaction.
• Work as a company‑driver and solo driver on dedicated local/regional routes.

Requirements

• Class A CDL license (required).
• Clean driving record.
• At least 2 years of tractor‑trailer driving experience (preferred).
• Pass a pre‑employment physical and DOT drug screen.
• Provide good work references.
