Responsibilities
- Operating a tanker safely to customer and supplier locations using assigned routes
- Following SOPs to ensure the safe delivery of chemical products
- Adhering to Bakelite and DOT safety regulations at all times
- Maintaining a clean driving record and delivering outstanding customer service
- Safely loading and off-loading chemical materials
- Working schedules that may include variable start times, weekends, and holidays in compliance with DOT regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid CDL Class A
- At least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- No more than 1 chargeable accident in the past year
- No more than 1 moving violation (excluding parking) in the past year
- Required DOT certifications by hire date: Tanker Endorsement, HazMat Endorsement, Valid DOT Medical Card
- Must comply with clean-shaven guidelines for respirator use
- Experience operating manual transmission
Qualifications
- Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD)
- 1+ years hauling Cargo Tank trailers
- Experience with hazardous materials
