Responsibilities

• Transporting loaded trailers between Ascentek and supplier facilities
• Moving trailers in and out of dock doors and/or repositioning trailers within the parking lot
• Maintaining trailer inventory and DOT dates as needed
• Maintaining current driver's license with appropriate endorsements and medical card
• Complying with DOT hours of service rules and maintaining truck operation in full compliance with DOT regulations
• Utilizing driver paper logbooks as needed
• Operating a forklift and completing warehouse functions

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prefer 2 years driving experience within the last 5 years and excellent customer service skills
• Prior forklift experience
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 36 months or 2 in the last 12 months
• No DWI or DUI in the past 5 years
• Class A license, HAZMAT, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements
• Current DOT Medical certification card
• Mets all D.O.T. qualifications in accordance with the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations, Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations

• Able to stand, walk, and repeatedly climb into and out of truck tractor or forklift several times throughout the day
• Able to lift/carry up to 60 pounds occasionally

Pay

The anticipated hiring range for the role is between $25.00 and $34.00 hourly plus second shift differential.

Schedule

The position is: Hourly, Full-time, Monday - Thursday, Monday - Friday, 1st Shift, 4:30am - 1pm
