Responsibilities
- Transporting loaded trailers between Ascentek and supplier facilities
- Moving trailers in and out of dock doors and/or repositioning trailers within the parking lot
- Maintaining trailer inventory and DOT dates as needed
- Maintaining current driver's license with appropriate endorsements and medical card
- Complying with DOT hours of service rules and maintaining truck operation in full compliance with DOT regulations
- Utilizing driver paper logbooks as needed
- Operating a forklift and completing warehouse functions
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prefer 2 years driving experience within the last 5 years and excellent customer service skills
- Prior forklift experience
- No more than 3 moving violations in the last 36 months or 2 in the last 12 months
- No DWI or DUI in the past 5 years
- Class A license, HAZMAT, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements
- Current DOT Medical certification card
- Mets all D.O.T. qualifications in accordance with the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations, Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations

- Able to stand, walk, and repeatedly climb into and out of truck tractor or forklift several times throughout the day
- Able to lift/carry up to 60 pounds occasionally

Pay
The anticipated hiring range for the role is between $25.00 and $34.00 hourly plus second shift differential.
Schedule
The position is: Hourly, Full-time, Monday - Thursday, Monday - Friday, 1st Shift, 4:30am - 1pm
