Job Summary

The Route Driver is responsible for operating a collection truck to collect cooking oil while providing quality service to customers. This role offers union benefits and pay, with potential for premium pay for overnight travel.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Pump or load grease containers; ensure cleanliness; secure container and lock; note any damages; complete route ticket with customer signature. - Follow established route as assigned. - Maintain vehicle cleanliness; conduct safety checks and inspections; operate vehicle safely according to regulations and company policy. - Attend safety meetings; may serve on Safety Committee. - Maintain professional appearance and attitude; handle customer relations effectively. - Complete required company paperwork accurately. - Update vehicle condition report daily. - Perform all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED. - At least 21 years old with a clean driving record. - Valid CDL with proper endorsements. - Registered on https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/.

Preferred Qualifications

- Good teamwork skills. - Reliable and dependable. - Strong math and communication skills. - Knowledge of safe commercial vehicle operation and maintenance.
