About the role

Clark Transfer has been moving live entertainment across North America for over 75 years, transporting sets, costumes, instruments, and equipment for Broadway shows, concert tours, theatrical performances, and special events. As an Owner Operator, you’ll be hauling dry‑van freight over‑the‑road throughout the Lower 48 states and Canada, helping keep the show running.

Responsibilities

• Transport entertainment cargo (sets, costumes, instruments, equipment) safely and on time.
• Operate dry‑van trailers solo or as part of a team.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Communicate with dispatch and ensure proper documentation for loads.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Passport required for cross‑border runs into Canada.
• Ability to work over‑the‑road with less than 85,000 miles per year.

Qualifications

Solo and team Owner Operator opportunities are available; experience with dry‑van freight and over‑the‑road driving is preferred.

Pay

Solo Owner Operators average $175,000–$225,000+ annually, with a guaranteed minimum average of $3,500 per week worked and most earning $3,750–$4,250+ per week. Annual mileage is kept under 85,000 miles.
