Class A CDL Local Route Specialist

Locations: Sardinia, OH and Erlanger, KY

Pay: $230.00 daily rate

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 4:00 AM

About the Role

This position reports out of Sardinia, OH as a Class A CDL Route Delivery Driver, home every evening. The Route Specialist covers the routes of teammates when they are away and maintains established routes, including orders, delivery, and unloading products at customer locations. This fast-paced role involves stocking and facing products on displays, shelves, coolers, and cold vaults while ensuring proper rotation standards. The Route Specialist may train new route sales teammates, assist supervisors, handle urgent customer needs, and serve as a company ambassador.

Responsibilities

• Cover vacation routes competently to maintain established route standards and sales while ensuring high customer service levels
• Order, fill, merchandise, and rotate products on shelves, displays, cold vaults, and cooler equipment according to company standards
• Perform specified activities per route discipline (bulk, conventional, full service, and cold bottle)
• Assist supervisors in training new route sales teammates, focusing on safety, efficiency, and customer service
• Handle urgent customer needs to meet commitments in a timely, consistent, and professional manner
• Assist supervisors with projects, tasks across the territory, and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Able to perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis
• Demonstrated dependability, initiative, professional demeanor, and sound judgment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous lifting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. of product repetitively
• Availability to work some weekends and holidays
• Excellent safety record
• Ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack, hand-truck) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English to perform basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Valid driver’s license for your state of residency with an excellent driving history reflected on a 7-year Motor Vehicle Report
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or permit (Class A) or the ability to obtain such
• Ability to pass and maintain D.O.T. physical requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Retail management or merchandising experience
• Previous route delivery, direct store delivery, stocking, merchandising products, or retail management experience
