Job Summary
The HORD team, nationally known for their world-class pig production, is seeking a Class A CDL driver with at least 3 years of CDL driving experience to join their livestock transportation team. This position offers training on livestock movement, a supportive team-focused atmosphere, and the opportunity to be home every night.
Primary Responsibilities
- Transporting pigs of various ages and sizes
- Loading and unloading of animals
- Ensuring trailers are properly bedded for animal safety
- Cleaning trailers to maintain hygiene and safety standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years CDL driving experience
- Ability to lift 55 lbs., climb, bend, sit, and power wash for extended periods
- Time management skills to ensure timely load schedules
- High level of respect for team members and animals
- Impeccable record of reliability and dependability
- Willingness to learn and follow complex instructions
- Basic knowledge of Windows, Excel, and email functions
Qualifications
- No ownership or routine contact with non-Hord pigs
- Respectful and reliable personality
- Knowledge of basic computer functions
- Class A CDL license with a clean driving record

- Starting wage of $28/hour ($72,800.00 annually)

Schedule
Generally works Monday through Friday, allowing for evenings and weekends for family time (some flexibility based on load schedules and optimal temperatures for animal transport).
